Question about Updated Assets with Downloaded Program

Postby MTKnife » Tue Aug 22, 2017 12:57 am

Is the plugin that downloads community assets intended to flag assets that have been updated, so that the user can downloaded the newest version? If so, I don't think that part is working.

As far I know once an asset is downloaded it is removed from the local list it no longer shows up in the community assets tab as downloadable so I very much think that a check for a newer version is not done ATM.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I've prepared for this functionality in the next version, but currently you need to delete the local asset to be sure to get the updated one.

I think you also need to delete the record in assets.json.

Assets.json is re-downloaded when you click the "synchronize" button. You don't need to delete/modify it manually.
