Looking for contest maintainer

It's a bit sad that the contests didn't continue. This is all on me: I didn't have the time/energy to push for contributions and follow up. But I still think the idea is basically sound.

So public call for help: Would anyone be interested in managing contests during the fall? The role would include responsibilities such as:

• Thinking up / discussing new topics (and/or formats)
• Answering questions
• Writing an announcement post at the start of each contest period (basically a few lines "This month's topic is...")
• Making a poll with the contributions at the end of each period. This normally includes making thumbnails of all the contributed images, so some basic work with GIMP or similar.
• Writing an announcement of the contest winner

If you still need someone, I'm always happy to help wherever I can. I'm happy to give you guys a few days a month at least for whatever you need.

I'm starting to get a real hang of the Blender -> Model export system with clothing, hair etc as well.

I'd love to contribute more that way too

Anyway, there's no need to sync things with me before going ahead. If you have contest ideas and want to launch a new instance of the contest, just go ahead and post these things in the contest forum. You should now have permission to create polls and make posts sticky there.
