will jigsaw things together shortly (im modding a twitch channel atm) i do have a portable apps setup already so this is weld it up and hope it doesn't explode time.

okay just to report did the jigsaw work and it DID NOT catch fire and it looks like it might fly.

i also have a portable blender install that has all the bits preset.

how do y'all suggest i box this up (im thinking blender data folder in one zip, MH plugins in a separate zip, the existing zip for content and then we can use the to exist MHp , BlenderP and GimpP so save space)

Just saw someone post over at PortableApps about MakeHuman, http://portableapps.com/node/54736 , so came to see what is going on lately and found this thread. Great to hear a PAc version might be close.

Don't know how far you have gotten on plugins for the tools but found some OLD versions I tried. Maybe they might help get started, they don't clean out old versions for a clean upgrade. NOTE: BlenderPortable changes folder names related to version.

Also I see a topic that keeps coming up, even within the last month, so tried packaging a bunch of assets from the User Contributions. I choose the ones done by Manuel, including skins and proxies(topologies?).

I assumed that the makehuman folder normally found in My Documents would be in MakeHumanPortable/Data, seems to work in the mockup I put together.

Just another, smaller, example of an asset plugin for MH Portable for testing. This contains nails by: pixel_pretty (CC-BY), wolgade and grinsegold (CC0). Also the related target by grinsegold.

Not sure why but had a little trouble getting these to display initially and had to do some tweaking to get all to work. Once that was done renamed all so would not be confused with originals.

So have a single set of fingernals and three matching sets of fingernails and toenails. Worked in mockup of MH Portable 1.1.0 and 1.0.2, not tested in export to Blender.

I should have mentioned that the PortableApps.com paf file is basically a self-extracting NSIS archive. 7-zip can extract the files, or you may change the extension to zip and extract with other utility to see internal format.
