wiki discussion thread

This thread is a catch-all for discussion related to the MakeHuman wiki. Most people read the forums, a few of us are on the MakeHuman IRC channel on freenode, and some of us (weirder ones) enjoy writing documentation.

The wiki is currently a work in progress aimed at the forthcoming version 1.1 of MakeHuman. It is open for anyone with a forum account to log in and contribute, from newbie to (dare I say it) developer. Don't be afraid to jump in, ask questions, point out errors and omissions, or query things that are generally confusing (here, or on the wiki talk pages). Much of the original documentation was written from a technical or functional viewpoint, so there are probably gaps and intuitive leaps that are not immediately obvious.

There is currently no stylebook, nor editing guidelines, but see and/or edit Documentation_Talk:Index to work toward a common theme. If you would like to contribute, the full wikimedia help system is online, or have a look at an edit page to see how specific formatting was achieved.

Please note that I am not a representative for makehuman, but just trying to get stuff going in the community, so any comments will be most helpful.
