This is correct. The blog has disappeared, and there is no official archive of the posts. If you can live with the lack of layout or need some specific piece of info, you can still find the old content at
http://oldwww.makehumancommunity.org/blog. The sub-urls are the same, so if you have a 404, you can just change the domain name to find the old post.
As per early summer 2015, MakeHuman was separated into a community part and an "official" part. This was made for a few reasons. The first was that the project leader (Manuel) have specific life circumstances which blocks him from engaging fully in communication with the community. The second, and main straw that forced the separation, was a new law in Italy which would make Manuel personally responsible for some technical circumstances, and which would possibly impose some extreme fines for non-compliance. To avoid this, I've accepted the legal responsibility of what has been moved to *.makehumancommunity.org, under Swedish jurisdiction.
However, since the main devs were also otherwise occupied and could not be expected to maintain these things, some services where pruned rather than have unmaintained sites.
I try to keep the information flow and answer questions to the best of my ability here, but am somewhat offside concerning things such as official policy and the front of the development.
As things stand, here's the basic map of the makehuman online presence:
