dress hemline on MH model

Postby Joshea » Tue May 29, 2018 9:14 pm

Hi,
I'm working on a fashion configuator with MH being the model, and the dress made in MakeClothes 1.1.0. The hemline in edit mode is a straight horizontal line, however the same hemline in object mode is crooked. With or without the solidify modifier, same result.
Does anyone have a tip on how to resolve this?

Many times a skirt may get this kind of shape changes on a posed character. I guess edit mode shows the unposed dress and the object mode shows the posed version.

Thanks for taking a look. I went back into pose mode and changed her stance, and the problem is pretty well gone. I don't really like her new pose, but hey.

You might see if Blender's corrective smooth modifier helps you: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/ ... mooth.html
