Draconian Male

Time to put my money where my mouth is. Here is the first iteration of a Draconian Male, a design which borrows from alien conspiracy websites as well as the fossil record.
I'm going to use the Muscular topology for an Asian, and then created the Draconian without deleting either a bone or a vertex.

This is an OpenGL screenshot (very valuable tool) at frame 50 that displays how different the skeletal structure is. :o

This creature will have large, webbed ears, a neck frill, and rudimentary wings that flow out from the pinky finger. That's the easy part.

The real difficulty lies in creating and rigging the elongated metatarsal bones so that this creatures runs on its tiptoes. The pinky toe is now the rear talon, the third toe is now the velociraptor 'striking toe'.

Feel free to make suggestions, especially about coloration.

Have you figured anything out on how to get around the problems with mhskel exporting? (from "Resting pose issues", "Armature and weight painting issues")

Because it would be pretty cool if you made your creature available for download eventually.

My goal is to create a complete Blender model, with a walk cycle, and a few combat moves. I'll give it a rudimentary texture map, and then hand it on to the community. :geek:
I have a graphic novel to finish, so I'll let you do the MH fine-tuning, if you wish. :)
