Lab clothes

Working on further pieces in the "Crude" series. This time focusing on lab gear.

This reminds me a bit of these experiments with luminol at school. But I can't remember I have ever had such a cute chemistry teacher ;).

Can't wait to find out how you made the goggles' material more transparent in some areas than the others.

There's really no magic there.

The light from the windows behind the camera is causing a gloss shine on the surfaces which are towards them. The front of the goggles are not though, so no shine there.

Would you be able to achieve the same effect in MakeClothes though? Maybe some weird texture or something…

Yes. Just use a diffuse texture with an alpha channel.
