By "crude" I mean low-poly and no elaborate textures, not necessarily "crappy". Although I guess the two might coincide in a few of my contributions. :-)

I really like these basic assets. They're good starting points for people who are new to Blender or MH.

Back in the old days I always wanted to learn Blender, but never came far. MH actually made me go for it. I took the basic clothes MH contained, played around with them and got first results. Quick sucess is a great source of motivation.

I keep thinking I should make a texture painting video tutorial based around the crude assets. That should be a good start for budding artists.

It's a pity I can't draw art if my life depended on it though. I'm more of a numbers and coordinates guy. :-)
