particle hair wip

Postby NewArt2000 » Fri Oct 10, 2014 6:26 am

just messing around with a model using the mhx2 tool just put a little particle hair and some texture tweaks very much a work in progress. image took 4 min to render. I didn't do anything to the t-shirt. I need to figure out something with the eye textures. Any thoughts or opinions of the image welcomed it a WIP?

how did you get the hair nice a curly like that. I've tried a few times and failed miserably...

hair is tricky but in the children setting you have to play with clump value and shape value. after you get desired style.

I think I get it: comb first, add curl, clump and shape last. What radius and frequency values?

these are the settings I used but I believe in some instances it will be a trail an error moment to get the look you want.
