Hey Terry, thanks for the post, can you give a brief description of what is being downloaded are? Also, we'd prefer not to have downloadable files posted as there are unfortunately some not-so-trustworthy people out there that will post viruses just for fun. I'm sure this is not the case with you, however we need to discourage the act altogether. I hope you understand.

This thread is meant to be for posting a step-by-step tutorial or a quick tip.

Thanks for understanding. :)

It's ok, Terry is a trusted member of our community :D
What he posted is a tutorial on how to retarget and apply BVH mocap animations onto a makehuman character (I believe in Blender).
The zip contains a HTML file with pictures. I still think it should go somewhere on our website, though.

I will poke Manuel and/or the doc team again and see if they can process it ;)

If I can figure out how to make html pages with google sites, I'll put it there. Any tutorial could have source files so
it's up to the downloader to scan what they download. AVG antivirus is free, only had 1 virus in 8 years, had to get
Kaspersky to fix it though.

If it's html and images you should be able to basically paste it in drupal. Talk to manuel to get edit permision in the docs section or convince someone to migrate the zip file contents for you.

Terry, thanks for the tutorial. Might I ask though, could you do a video tutorial of the same? Reading it is a bit confusing for me since I can not really see it in action. So a video of the same process would help.

Thanks, Robitron

I'm pretty busy, anyhoo, I'm using the 'game' skeleton now, a variation with 5 fingers. The mhx skeleton is too complicated just for a Unity 3d game. Where are you stuck?

Here's some other stuff. I was using brekel pro body, but it only works in Motion Builder, haven't
run it lately though.
I did find out there are 2 separate bvh_import.py scripts, 1 might work where the other doesn't.

Well, there's not a single place that I'm stuck. It's just all pretty confusing if you have no idea where to even begin.

Also, so this is only for the use of Unity? I was hoping that it was something that I could do using only Blender and Make Human. Sadly I've got too much software on my overburdened machine. Adding another may well put it over the deep end.
