So I made hair, a moustach, and a beard for my model in Blender, but I want it as an option in MakeHuman. How do I export it properly and import it into MakeHuman?

Run each object though makeclothes as a separate piece of clothes beards/hair are treated as clothes/proxies make sure you assign materials the makeclothes blender addon will export them to the right path so that makehuman can find them though you may need to ensure they go to right category.

I tried that, but it only exported the cap that the hair/particle system is coming out of

Makehuman has never supported particle hair so I'm not surprised particle hair only works within blender so if you want to reuse particle hair you have to make it so you can append it to an other character in an other .blend file.

Well, surely there's a way to export custom hair from Blender into MakeHuman (though not as particles). Do you know of any tutorials? I've not been able to find anything.

Ah that would be mesh hair using the hair helpers in makeclothes but I do not know of a specific tutorial on how to get it it done.
