How to make clothes fit in blender

Postby MrJamz » Wed Mar 05, 2014 10:41 pm

Hi there. Haven't been able to find good info on this yet. I've got a character moving around but the body is penetrating the clothes. Any idea on how to stop that or make the clothes look for realistic.
I'm guessing simulation may have something to do with it but not sure.

The "Hide faces under clothes" checkbox in the clothes library is a start.
In Blender, tweaking the vertices of clothes a bit in edit mode. You can use offset editing and translate among the normal, for example.
Perhaps shrinkwrap or other wrap modifiers can help.
Soft body or cloth simulation can improve the result.
