I followed the instructions here https://github.com/makehumancommunity/mhx2-makehuman-exchange but there is no option for "MakeHuman: Import-Runtime: MakeHuman eXchange 2 (.mhx2)" in the addons/plugins settings in blender. I'm using MakeHuman 1.2.0.

Do I have to download an older version of blender for it to work?

Okay that is odd. I must have made a mistake somewhere because when I redid all the steps, it now showed up even though I re-did everything already before then... Thank you anyway!
