Ok, something I've missed until now :oops: . Well, sigh, the situation of mhx2 is currently not the best. And I must admit my interest was just to make it basically working. It has also become extremely slow. We must see, when we will find time rework the tool again. One of the first will be purging old 2.7 code...

BTW: punkducks suggestions look rather promising. You could try to edit these lines and see if it helps. BTW don't forget to delete the py cache files, then.

Would it be true to say that mhx2 isn't working at the moment? I can't even install it in blender 2.82.

Hi

Well the version Aranuvir changed + my fixes and I got her in Blender 2.80 (hopefully there is not a new difference in 2.82)

So it also works with tri- and high polygon meshes and contains the changes I did for the old version also.

Simple answer: No!

BTW, as stated earlier B282 is still very alpha^. And from my experiences with B280 it does not make sense fixing things over and over again...

Out of pure curiosity I tested MHX2 with the latest Blender 2.82 build from today (hash: c2a37867f21b). I couldn't see any issues with my settings, except the fact that the import is utterly slow...
Could you recheck with a recent build running from shell and post any error messages?
