What's in future plans ? (some UE4 plugins)

Postby D.Frog » Wed Oct 12, 2016 10:57 pm

I wonder, what's a commercial idea of programs like this ?

Maybe some plugins for Unreal Engine 4 with character morphing inside a game project ?

For all platforms possible ... I would like to see something like that inside Unreal Engine 4 marketplace... There is already some plugins, but they are not from professionals...

Or its standalone forever ?

From its start MakeHuman has been dedicated to open source concepts and will remain that way. There are no specific commercialization plans.

MakeHuman already produces output capable of being used by multiple downstream platforms including both UE4 and Unity game engines. These capabilities are likely to only improve going forward.

We could sell it I guess but then we would need to give access to the source code to remain faithful to our GPL licence and our saved files are just fancy text files so anyone with even a casual knowledge of the source code can hack then easily. But as Rob said we are an Open Source project so we aren't looking for a profit. Now a plug-in for UE4 is fair game for anyone as that project is commercial and what do you have against Open Source as you seem to denigrate us as non professional I personally have been coding for forty years started in the sixties with main frames.

Enjoy the Choice :)

:D I hate to bring this up, but even if you are referring to very late sixties (like 1969), that would be closer to fifty years if you round!! That's half a century! :D
