Manuellab and Avastar: Characters for Second Life/Opensim

Postby Déesse » Sun Feb 28, 2016 6:48 pm

Great news! Gaia Clary just announced that Avastar will support the Manuellab's characters export to Second Life (and later on to Opensim too, I hope 8-) )

Just as a side note: These posts are a little off topic, since MakeHuman and Manuellab are independent projects and we are not able to give support for Maneullab. But I'm sure our user Déesse will show up soon and help you solve your problem. :)

It seems that still there will be much work to do. The problems with Manuellab and Makehuman are similar. I will concentrate on Makehuman because for me there are more options.
But here is an example with Manuellab 1.4 and Avastar RC5. In Blender it looks fine, but parts are rotated and the facebones are not in place. The upload shows some weird proportions.

Then it went with you with the turn, with me the bones do not with, as it looks in my picture. With you it looks so, that it had turned right. What I have done wrong, I must pay attention to what, it has done as in the video. :?

Thanks for the repley

I think possibly this discussion would fit better on a Manuel Lab support forum, if such exist.

As said, MakeHuman and ManuelLab are two different products which doesn't really have anything to do with each other.

D'accord! That's what I said: I will concentrate on Makehuman, it's difficult enough :o :ugeek:
